Help the Computer Lab

Now that we have enough RAM to manage our PC’s, the lab is turning it’s attention to adding a server to our network.  A former business has given us a fairly new machine, but it is missing the hard drives.  They were removed to protect private information and must be replaced in order for the machine to run.  If you have contact with an IT Department, DCS would appreciate it if you could check for these spare parts.  The specifications are as follows:

  • It takes Ultra320 SCSI Hot Swap HDD
  • The drives must come with IBM trays
  • We can use 4 to 6 Hard Drives
  • The larger the size of the drives, the more useful the server will be.

Simply drop any donations by the school office or contact
Joe Braun at

Thank you for your support!

DCS gives a big THANK YOU to

ADM and Brad Kirby for helping

with the need listed below.

God's provision has blessed us abundantly

and we are no longer in need of extra RAM.

The computer lab is in desperate need of some memory to increase the speed of our PC’s used for Rosetta Stone Spanish, Photoshop, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Publisher, and Keyboarding.  If you have (or know someone that may have) RAM with the following specifications, please consider donating it to DCS.  In order of priority, we need:

  1. PC2-3200U DDR2 RAM at 512 MB or higher for about 20 machines
  2. PC-2700U DDR RAM at 512 MB or higher for about 10 machines
